All participants are responsible for arranging hotel accommodations for the seminar, which is not included in tour price. $129/night double occupancy plus tax. Special pricing for participants based on room availability.

· Continental breakfast for Hampton Inn guests each morning.
· Check-In will be in the hotel lobby about 1 hour before the day’s activities begin. You only need to check-in once.
· Each participant will receive a packet of tactical maps and a name badge at check-in
· Bus tours will leave from the Hampton Inn parking lot at the specified time.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9

9 a.m. - 8 p.m. “To Shiloh” Bus Tour led by Tim Smith
Today's tour will concentrate on getting the armies to Shiloh. We will start at Corinth, seeing the Interpretive Center there as well as the historic houses where the Confederate generals planned the Battle of Shiloh. We will also see the railroad crossing that was the cause of it all. Once we leave Corinth, we will follow the historic route of the Confederate march to Shiloh, seeing the Mickey's Farm House site where it all came together as well as the Confederate deployment area. After arriving at Shiloh, we will see Pittsburg Landing, where the Union forces came to the field.

5:30 pm Dinner at Hagy’s Catfish Restaurant
6:30 p.m. “The Terrain Factor at Shiloh” talk by Tim Smith
This lecture will describe the terrain of Shiloh, discussing why the battlefield itself impacted how the battle was fought. This will be an introduction to the two days of fighting at Shiloh that we will begin touring in detail the next morning.
Return to hotel by 8 p.m.
THURSDAY, APRIL 10

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. “Shiloh Day 1” Bus Tour led by Tim Smith
Bus Tour Description:
Today we will focus on the majority of Day 1 at Shiloh, April 6, 1862. We will cover all the famous sites in a chronological timeline of how the battle was fought. By the end of the day participants will understand the Union "trading space for time" mentality and how it was working, as well as how the terrain discussed the night before impacted the fighting.

FRIDAY, APRIL 11

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. “Shiloh Day 2” Bus Tour led by Tim Smith
Bus Tour Description:
Today, we will focus on the last part of Day 1, Grant's Last Line of Defense, and delve into the fighting on Day 2, April 7, 1862. We will follow the fighting across the battlefield as the Union forces counterattack and win the battle. On the way back to Corinth we will also see Fallen Timbers, site of the April 8, 1862 follow-up action.

SATURDAY, APRIL 12

8 a.m. to 6 p.m. “Corinth Siege and Battle” Bus Tour led by Tim Smith
Bus Tour Description:
On this day we will follow up the Shiloh action with the important Siege of Corinth, where the Federals took the city and the railroad crossing in May 1862, as well as the Battle of Corinth, when the Confederates tried to retake the city in October 1862. We will finish the tour by following the Confederate retreat from Corinth in October out to the battlefield at Davis Bridge.

Payment Policy: Full payment is due prior to seminar.
Cancellation Policy: -Seminar registrations cancelled two weeks before a scheduled seminar are subject to a $100 per person administrative fee; cancellations received within two weeks will be charged 50% of the registration fee, including partial registrations or $100 (whichever is greater).
