WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9

9 a.m. - 8 p.m.   “To Shiloh” Bus Tour led by Tim Smith

Today's tour will concentrate on getting the armies to Shiloh. We will start at Corinth, seeing the Interpretive Center there as well as the historic houses where the Confederate generals planned the Battle of Shiloh. We will also see the railroad crossing that was the cause of it all. Once we leave Corinth, we will follow the historic route of the Confederate march to Shiloh, seeing the Mickey's Farm House site where it all came together as well as the Confederate deployment area. After arriving at Shiloh, we will see Pittsburg Landing, where the Union forces came to the field.
