Honoring Ed Bearss

Hi Folks,

Ed Bearss

Ed Bearss gestulating to the tour group at Antietam National Battlefield.

We are looking forward to having you at our Civil War tours this year! April kicks-off the season with a fantastic seminar that once again honors the great Ed Bearss called the “Ed Bearss Symposium: Leadership & Combat in the Civil War.” Ed will give a talk on a subject he knows well – Grant at Vicksburg. On Sunday, he will lead a walking tour of Little Round Top and Devil’s Den at Gettysburg.

Beyond that, we have some of the greatest Civil War historians in the field today prepared to speak during the Ed Bearss Symposium. This includes Perry Jamieson on Leadership at the Battle of Bentonville, his new book on the final battles of the Civil War may be out by then as well. Dennis Frye will speak on Antietam and George Wunderlich will have a unique presentation about Civil War Ballistics. There are many other fantastic speakers in the line-up you won’t want to miss. Click here for more details about our 2015 semianrs. Take care and I look forward to seeing you in April.
